Internship: Continuous Improvement

Description of assignment

In order to continuously improve and learn from mistakes occurred on projects, we have started to log the lessons learned after the project is completed. To use this data successfully we need to create a lesson learned register that is able to inform future projects on lessons learned. (additionally, create a way of working to ensure actions will be followed-up with the right department).

• Establish a centralized data storage system for a Lesson learned Site Management Project
• Include filter options for easy retrieval of lessons learned (e.g., by country, subcontractor, equipment).
• Create tags such as "Lessons learned - Finland" for easy filtering.
• Enable open fields for multiple departments to contribute insights.
• Encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing among departments.
• Utilize stakeholder management principles to coordinate assignments effectively.
• Consider input from relevant stakeholders (e.g., project managers, site personnel).
• Ensure assignments are communicated clearly and coordinated efficiently.
• Facilitate informed decision-making and continuous improvement through structured data management and collaboration.

Description of department

Within the Site Management in Veghel 60 site managers are working on projects all over the world. The Site Managers are responsible for a safe and high-quality installation of our equipment. The team is split up in 4 groups all lead by a team leader. information on progress, actions and safety management is reported in the new software, in this way the office is informed and connected to the site execution.
