Join Ecolab’s Fleet and Facilities team as a Fleet Coordinator in Leiden. Within our industry leading division, this opportunity will play a key role in supporting the fleet management of the business. As a Fleet Coordinator, you are in charge of overseeing vehicle activities of our Ecolab employees, managing contact with lease companies and being in charge of the finances (cost control, approval of invoices).

As a critical role this position expeditiously and effectively resolves issues and concerns with company vehicles, facilities and mobile telephony. You will be offering support and reporting to our Facilities & Fleet Manager.

You’ll make this job your own, but here are some key responsibilities:

• Manage the mobility, connectivity, organization of our workforce: car fleet (>400 vehicles)
• Working together with leasing companies and monitoring of these contracts
• Be in charge of approving invoices and cost control
• Coordinating with management to develop and implement policies and procedures related to fleet management
• Handle administrative tasks
• Responsibility for the efficient organization and coordination of the vehicle fleet
• Central point of contact for all fleet issues
• Monitoring the applicable country guidelines regarding vehicles
• Fuel management
• Processing of administrative offenses
• Transfer of owner liability / driver's license checks
• Management of existing vehicles and analysis of the entire vehicle fleet

What you’ll need:

• Completed an apprenticeship or prior experience in fleet management or a related environment is essential. You’ll be responsible for overseeing vehicle maintenance, optimizing routes, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
• A strong understanding of numbers and cost analysis is crucial. You’ll analyse data related to fuel consumption, maintenance expenses, and overall fleet performance.
• Managing a fleet involves coordination, scheduling, and documentation. Excellent organizational skills are necessary to keep operations running efficiently.
• Fluency in both Dutch and English is required. You’ll communicate with team members, drivers, and external partners in both languages.
• You’ll handle administrative tasks related to fleet operations, such as record-keeping, reporting, and documentation.
• You must be able to stand your ground when making decisions and take proactive steps to address any issues promptly.
• Clear communication is essential. You’ll collaborate with various stakeholders, including drivers, suppliers, and management.
